Shelley Klingerman

A lifelong admiration for—and desire to be—a badass led Shelley to dig deep for insights that help women develop the emotional, mental, and physical preparation critical to dissuading predators. Her work producing a documentary on school shootings, along with the wisdom she gleaned from law enforcement, military, and counter-terrorism professionals, inspired her to launch the Stiletto Agency and author Vigilance: The Savvy Woman’s Guide to Personal Safety, Self-Protection Measures, and Countermeasures.

In 2021, Shelley founded Project Never Broken to honor the life and legacy of 30-year Det./FBI Task Force Officer Greg Ferency, who was ambushed and murdered in a senseless and evil act on July 7, 2021. The foundation’s mission is to boldly support law enforcement through hope, help, and healing—while honoring the resiliency of humanity.

Outside of her advocacy work, Shelley brings a sharp marketing mind to the table. With years of experience in media, branding, and strategic partnerships, she’s no stranger to crafting messages that move people. She holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and has led campaigns across the digital and advertising space—making her as savvy in the boardroom as she is in the world of personal safety.
