Stephanie Hanner

My name is Stephanie Hanner and I am in my 27th year at the Ohio State Highway Patrol. I currently hold the position of Sergeant and work with several other law enforcement agencies on a federal and a local drug task force. I am a member of our peer support team for over 7 years and have responded to Critical Incidents all over the State of Ohio. I am a Red X, lead performer, for women’s cohorts in SAW. I have attended every female SAW cohorts since March of 2024, while in training to be Red X. I attended SAW in October of 2023, that changed my way of thinking immediately. I attended first responders conference in 2023 where I met Cinnamon for the first time! Post Critical Incident Seminar September 2019, International Critical Incident Stress Foundation October 2019, First Responder Mental Health and Wellness November 2019 where I met Larry Turner. In short, I Dispatched for two and a half years before entering police academy. Worked the road for 12 years and have been in investigations the past 13 years. I knew I wanted to be a cop since I was 3 years old. I never knew the price I would pay.
